DRIPPING MATTER – SAPPHOS FRAGMENTS was an opera performance staged at Glyptoteket as part of Copenhagen Opera Festival in 2021 and CPH Stage in 2022. Mette Moestrup's adaptation of Sappho’s fragments is brought to life through Matilde Böcher’s compositions and Jules Fischer’s choreography in this contemporary Sapphic tribute to lesbian love and queer communities.
Peace Poem for Many People
PEACE POEM FOR MANY PEOPLE is a collective peace poem based on the Peace of Westphalia treaties of 1648. Created for the project Westfailure at Burg Hüllshof, Center for Literature, Germany, 2021. The Phantom Potato Homeland Show
THE PHANTOM POTATO HOMELAND SHOW is the most unusual cooking show you'll ever see. A homeland-critical examination of the potato as a symbol. Poem and potato performance by Mette Moestrup, sound collage by Angolan artist Nástio Mosquito. Developed in collaboration between Mosquito and Moestrup, the video was filmed by Patricia Bbaale Bandak. Created for the Denkfabrik project at Burg Hüllshof, Center for Literature, Germany, 2021.
